HDR & URBEX IMAGES
Gallery
Wikipedia.." HDR High-dynamic-range imaging) is a high dynamic range technique used in photography to reproduce a greater dynamic range of luminosity than what is possible with standard digital imaging or photographic techniques. The aim is to present a similar range of luminance to that experienced through the human eye ."
The process often used is capturing and then combining several different exposures of the same subject matter, a common combination being 1 image with normal exposure, a second image over-exposed by 1 stop, a 3rd image under-exposed by 1 stop.
URBEX...loosely defined as an activity in which people explore and capture derelict structures and spaces (often urban) such as abandoned buildings, sewers or underground railways etc, often areas and structures which are out of the public view.
This gallery is expanding over time and currently also includes genre such as:-
